Drawing upon over a decade of experience in design, mechanical engineering, process improvement, operations, sales and strategic planning Luke prides himself on delivering results. Lukes passion for continuous improvement inspired him to start Progress Mining in 2020. His drive for growth in both market share and profits helps him understand new markets, define strategies and their execution while having an influence on improving all areas of the business.

Sam Berge
Regional Manager Australia
Sam has been part of the mining industry for 24 years. Working over this time in various fields including mining undercarriage, hydraulics, engineering, bearing and power transmission. In 2021 Sam became a part of the Progress Mining team, the depth and breadth of his experience helps him better understand the challenges customers face every day, helping provide them with solutions to keep their machines and sites moving forward.

Arturo Calderón C

Arturo brings 25 years’ experience of working in the mining industry to the team. Before joining Progress Mining in 2024, Arturo worked as a heavy machinery maintenance technician, provided technical support in the product support group and was involved in mining equipment sales. A Middle management professional in heavy machinery maintenance, Arturo has the know how to understand customer needs, providing technical product support.

For 25 years Willie has worked in the African mining industry supporting mine sites with sales and technical know-how. Willies is a qualified Caterpillar Technician, experience that gives him an insider perspective when dealing with customers.
Willie has been a part of the Progress Mining team since 2022 and brings with him a wealth of technical knowledge from his experience working in technical mining product support for major OEM brands.
