In July this year a complete Progress Mining undercarriage install was carried out on another Hitachi© EX3600 at a Hunter Valley coal mine site located in New South Wales, Australia. This is the third EX3600 at this site to have a complete Progress Mining undercarriage installed. A recent inspection of the fleet conducted as part of our Condition Monitoring Service, showed that this latest install is still in like-new conditions with minimal wear. Progress Mining components continue to demonstrate that they don’t just survive in the harsh operating conditions of coal mines, they excel in them.

This Hunter Valley coal mine is a valued partner, currently Progress Mining is running complete undercarriage solutions on 3 different platforms at this site: Hitachi© EX3600, EX5600 and Caterpillar© 6060. We are pleased that they put their trust in our components, and we will continue to monitor all machines in the fleet to help extend undercarriage life and reduce machine down time.
